Warrington is benefitting from some of the largest transport investment in it's history thanks to this Conservative Government, making local transport better and more affordable for local people.
As MP I've secured £42million for a brand new fleet of 105 zero emission electric buses, new bus depot and reduced fares for passengers. We've had over £120million extra to improve local transport connections that people rely on daily, as well as £33million for road resurfacing and pothole repairs. If re-elected I will continue holding the Labour Council to account to make sure this money is spent wisely.
I've also led the way on making sure Warrington benefits from Northern Powerhouse Rail, bringing together the Rail Minister and Local Councillors to discuss new faster East-West connections between Manchester and Liverpool, and the opportunities for a new low level platform for Warrington Bank Quay to serve as a hub station.
