Our children deserve the best start in life.
That’s why I’m campaigning for better facilities in our local schools. We’re making progress, improving the dining room at Lymm High School and the roof at Westbrook Old Hall Primary. But there is much more to do.
Schools including Evelyn Street and Alderman Bolton Community Primary School are also set to benefit from infrastructure funding. The funding will ensure schools have well-maintained facilities to provide students with safe environments that support a high-quality education. It is part of the £1.4 billion of capital funding for 2020-21 announced in April and is provided through the Condition Improvement Fund (CIF).
I'll press for better access to sports pitches, new technology like updated computers and better classrooms. Helping every child to reach their potential.
